What's a Tag Cloud?
Feb 28, 2006 | 6:35PM | Toronto | report this
A tag cloud is a visual depiction of content categories used on FOX Sports blogs.

Categories that are more frequently used appear more orangey and in a larger font than ones that are used less frequently. The teams in each section on FOX Sports are displayed in alphabetical order, which means that you can find teams alphabetically and by popularity.

Here's what a FOX Sports tagcloud looks like:

In the above tag cloud, the Kings have been written about a ton, and the Suns, well, not so much.

This completely misses the point of blogging. Where are the story titles? Where are the bloggers' names? If I wanted info about the Redskins I'd read foxsports or the Washington Post. I want my bloggers!

Please add a link to return to the old way of seeing the blogs. I have a very limited amount of time to surf here, and I have spent so much time looking for what I am interested in, that I have no time to express my opinions. You can leave the fluff, but please insert a link so that we can return to the prior way of listing the blogs for those who request it.

Thanks,
